Boyfriend acts differently when I'm around

Hi guys!

So me and Kyle have been together for a little over 5 months and have pretty much been inseparable. We rarely went a day without seeing each other over the summer and now that we're in college and our residence halls are right next to each other we haven't gone a single day without seeing each other. We eat all our meals together, we go to sleep together (our roomies are cool with it luckiliy) and we even have one class in the same building together at the same time.
My problem is he apparently acts completely different when I'm around, or so his roommate says.

Kyle sometimes makes very loud, annoying noises out of the blue and doesn't really stop when asked. He did it in his dorm room yesterday and his roommate who is usually really happy actually got mad and yelled at him because Kyle wouldn't stop the first couple times he asked. His roommate told me later that night that Kyle acts a certain way when I'm around. I'm not sure why he gets loud and annoying when I'm there, because it bothers me too and I've told him to stop quite a few times.

My main question is how can I talk to Kyle about this without it seeming like I'm just attacking him? I don't want to hurt his feelings because I love him and most of the time he's great. But I really hate when he makes loud outbursts or just starts singing really loud, especially when I'm trying to study. I'm a pretty calm and quiet person, so it really gets on my nerves when he acts immature like that.

I think you should talk to him for the straight answer.
Only he knows and feels why he acts differently.

Maybe he's extremely comfortable with you, kind of like how some people are douchebags with their friends but quiet when they aren't there.

I do kind of feel bad for him if that is the case. Maybe he is just super excitable/random , and he can't help it.
