Two things:

1) The biblical Jesus would never come back to Earth with Mary Magdalene as a "girlfriend." That's Dan Brown shit.
2) An IT professional? I feel like Jesus would be a doctor or something. Certainly the people I've dealt with in IT haven't been miracle-workers.

Aside from the whole "he's crazy" thing, I think he's just trying to make money. That's what these people usually do; they do crazy things for money and attention.

As for what I think of it, hey, it's his life. He's not hurting anyone, let him live it the way he wants. Same goes for the people dumb enough to follow him.

Also, does anyone else think that "jesus's" girlfriend "Mary Magdalene" looks completely high in that picture?

I don't think scamming people out of their money is not hurting anyone. Sure it's the people's own stupidity that's mostly at fault but he's encouraging it. It's like the rapture guy who convinced people to give up everything they had because the world was going to end.

In my honest opinion...

I think people who are foolish enough to fall for this sort of bullshit, deserve to loose the money that they are giving away willingly anyway. Similar to people who'd be prepared to spend even Ł1000 to get their hands on a new I-Pod, I-Pad or I-"insert anything" with no thought for how they're going to pay their rent, or the debts they might accumulate because of it. Their choice. Their mistake. Hopefully they'll learn. If they don't learn, then they're genuinely stupid.

The only moral discrepancy for me is drawing the line between people being foolish or stupid, and people being desperate. I don't expect anyone to know what I mean, although maybe someone does. I have no time to explain in full.

Well when I say that I mean, at least he's not literally hurting people; like hey, he's not going around killing people, he's not beating people up or trying to be the next Ted Bundy. True, it is hurtful to scam people out of their money, but the people giving their money are happy to give it.
