SHould I quit trying?Could it work?

I've known this girl for around 4 years now,we've talked and become the best of friends.since we are both shy people most of our conversations are through IM and sometimes vid chat.Anyways about a year ago i told her that I liked her,she ended up taking my heart and squishing it ,after that we didn't talk too much a little here an little there. But reently we've been talking a lot almost everyday. And a few days ago we video chatted. She was taking lots of snapshots her friends were there but she always kept the camera ONLY on her,she seemed really happy and didn't want to go anywhere since she kept sending her friends to do stuff for her ....seemed like she only wanted to talk to me,did I mention we vid and I'm for practically the entire day?I really am trying my best to win her over and get her to like me,because I'm practically in love with her but idk if it will work....and did any of the things she do mean that she might like me now? again we are best friends and share a lot with each other.........I really need you guy's opinions .

Thank you so much for reading this and taking the time to answer,it means a lot.

hello, I've been in that type of situation quite a few times actually, but as the girl and to be bluntly honest I think after she rejected she missed you having fawning over, by talking to you again it does not mean that she's starting to like you again it simply means she missed you as a friend and wants u back in that way, but not in any other way.... I hate to break it to you, but thats almost 99% whats happening here
