Is my girlfriend pregnant?

I also have a question for you guys. Me and my girlfriend had intercourse last May 25, 2012. I did not ejaculate inside her. Besides, I peed before our intercourse.

But on tuesday, she experienced light spotting together with morning sickness. Is there a chance that she might be pregnant based on the initial symptoms I saw?

Thank you.

Hello there, and welcome to TeenHelp!

Based on the information you gave me here, I would say she isn't pregnant. You had sex only about 4-5 days ago. Morning sickness, and any other kind of pregnancy symptom would not occur this early on considering she wouldn't even know she was pregnant yet to begin with. I would wait two weeks from the time you two had sex, which would be June 8th and have her take a pregnancy test. Only then would a pregnancy test give you/her an accurate reading.

Just remember: when you engage in sexual intercourse, the chances of pregnancy are there, protected or otherwise. Always make sure you take the correct precautions (birth control, condoms, etc) to make sure you not only protect yourselves against an unwanted pregnancy, but also against unwanted infections.

Re: Is my girlfriend pregnant?

Like Aletheia said, when having sex there is always a risk of pregnancy unless the woman or man are "fixed" (or for some reason unable to conceive that's NOT by choice) OR the girl is already pregnant.

That being said, the spotting and sickness might not have been a big deal. She could just be generally sick. HOWEVER, if you guys had sex, say, a month ago too, I'd suggest having a pregnancy test to be sure. If you both feel like there is legit reason to worry AND SHE PROCEEDS TO MISS A PERIOD, I would go get a pregnancy test (times 3) BUT if she doesn't miss her period I see no cause for concern for the time being. Hope that helps :)
