A question on trans... - November 8th 2010, 01:50 PM

I don't really know much on this topic if i'm being honest. I was just wondering whether a female-male trans and a male-female trans would actually feel anything 'down there' once all of the surgery has been completed. Like, would they feel the same things as males and females during sex?

Just curious

I am pretty sure they do, they keep all the nerves intact. I have a trans friend and apparently it's the same

The operation wouldnlead you to believe that. But they actually take the nerves and all that from around there, and use them to form the new part.

It is fully possibile(from what I've researched) to experience an orgrasm in the same way someone else would.

Like the others have said, it's still possible to have feeling down there. The technical surgeries these days have been very refined so they're very well done. I think all the nerve endings from the original area, are moved to the new area, so it's all still fully working.

Take care.

Male-to-female, yes. The MtF's I know who have had bottom surgery do geniunely enjoy sex. I've never asked directly about orgasms, but I get the impression they get them.

As for FtMs, its less straight forward. MtF bottom surgery is pretty well done at this time, but FtM bottom surgery isn't so great. It's easier to take away than build up. From what I've heard, there's no guarantee that after phalloplasty (the creation of a penis) you will get pleasure. But very few FtMs will get the full bottom surgery. If they get any bottom surgery, it doesnt involve new parts. FtMs on T will have a much higher sex drive, and according to my ex-bf, it feels better than before hormones.

I hope that helps?
