what is a female, what is a woman?

according to oxford dictionary:

female definition: of or denoting the sex that can bear offspring or produce eggs, distinguished biologically by the production of gametes (ova) which can be fertilized by male gametes:

woman definition: woman
an adult female human being:

Iif someone can indentify as a woman, but not be one physically, how does that work? It must mean that these definitions are incorrect? What are the correct definitions? And if so, what does that make me, someone who was born with female genitals and identifies as a woman? (I have a fully developed body besides my brain although I'm almost 16

Re: what is a female, what is a woman?

If you identify as a woman or a female, you're a woman. Since you were also born with female sexual characteristics, this would make you a cisgender woman, which means that your physical sex and your gender identity match.

Someone who is trans is also considered a woman or man depending on their identity. Someone can be transgender as well and still identify as male/female. you're a transman, it means that you would be considered male/a man. If you're a transwoman, this would be a female/a woman. Basically, what you have is a biological definition. People who argue biology would state that people can't differ from how they were born. That doesn't include the wide spectrum of gender identities that are out there, or the fact that intersex exists.

Basically, identify with whatever you feel comfortable with and feels right to you.

I'm not sure if that makes sense!
