Inspiring Trans Stories -
June 28th 2012, 02:12 AM
Okay, this isn't my story, but someone asked me to put it up (*cough*JVlifeonstandby*cough*Danielle*cough
When I was very young, I remember putting my hands into firsts, and shoving them into my shirt, fantasizing about having breasts. Whenever we played dress up, everyone else was a coy body or a fireman, I was in a dress. When I turned 14, I realized I wanted to be feminine. So I went out and bought my first panties and bras. I tried them on and I felt right.
One day, when I was 15, I was sneaking home some thigh-highs, when I was caught by my parents. There was a large argument, I remember it ended with my dad saying "go move in with the other queers in San Fransisco". Anyway, I went to therapy, and at the age of 16, I decided I was not going through a phase, I wanted to be a woman.
Once 18, I was in a happy relationship, and after a year and a half I was dumped. Through upset and suicidal, I felt relieved I could once again approach becoming a woman. When I was on teenhelp for advice, I met George, another trans person, FTM. We PMed for a long time, and eventually we began talking on the phone. Now we are in a relationship. I have never been happier.
I've said it once, I've said it twice, I've said it a thousand fucking times
That I'm OK, that I'm fine, that it's all just in my mind
But this has got the best of me, and I can't seem to sleep
It's not 'cause you're not with me, it's cause you never leave

I grew up as their little girl, when it was possible to be a ballerina, I was a ballerina (despite loving the role of being an alien better…) and I didn't mind it, if it was hands on playing, in any way, I was all for it. I remember a lot of times in my childhood, from being really young, kindergarden up to now, never feeling exactly right, never feeling like I fit in with the other girl (nor boys, but I'll get to that later)- I blamed it on my size and other things, since I knew about being diverse in sexuality but not in gender identity.
Finding about how there was more to gender than sex, started at the beginning of this year, with the realization of a crush on a friend (dodged a bullet on that one…), I joined a website, not TH but a different one, looking for help with that, since the town I live in isn't big on LGBT issues at all. I met a bunch of people, and saw a bunch of posts, each making me know that I identified with them more than the last. Shortly after that I found TH, and started exploring myself, finding that I was more comfortable with using male pronouns, I am in no way 100% sure of myself, but I'm close.
With the fact that LGBT issues aren't big in my town (territory…) I started really trying on TH, and did it with Danielle, and this all started, and I'm lucky and I really suck at writing about myself, so I'm sorry about the quick ending and all...

Both of your stories are inspirational and honestly cute how you two found each other. I wish the best for both of you and your relationship

This is all really sweet. Best of luck to both of you.
From day one I talked about getting out
But not forgetting about
How all my worst fears are letting out
He said, "Why put a new address on the same old loneliness?"
When breathing just passes the time
Until we all just get old and die

My ex boyfriend, who is one of my best friends, is trans as well.
For him it started with crossdressing. He's loved girl's clothes since he was very young and for a very long time he kept it hidden from his parents. A little more than a year ago, he told his mother about his crossdressing. She flipped her shit and threw him in therapy, thinking there was something wrong with him. Things have majorly subsided, and he's come to the decision he's been sitting on for years now; he wants to be a woman. He talked together with his therapist and parents, and surprisingly, they've accepted him and are okay with him starting hormones in preparation for the transition. Unfortunately, when he told his father (he lives with his mom and stepdad) he went balistic on him. His father then told his grandparents, who now want nothing to do with him because he's apparently going to burn in hell. Worst of all, he's very close with his cousin Ethan, who is about 14; they've decided that he's never allowed to see Ethan again, because they're afraid he'll make Ethan want to be a girl too. It's horrible.
But, there is a silver lining. Me, along with his parents and all his friends, are extremely supportive. Best of all, his girlfriend (who also happens to be a very close friend of mine) is completely fine with it. She's bisexual and doesn't mind him having the surgery, at all. She's very happy for him and they're looking forward to their future.
I love my Big Sleepy Bear. I still fill my panties; do YOU? No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist. -Oscar Wilde Buddy since 12/25/11 Self Expressions mod since 4/23/12 Helplink mentor since 5/9/12 . . . . . .Skittlify. Haru, Supportive friends are awesome, wish them luck for me?
Kaisada - It would be kind of cool, I'd love to see the Castro, and maybe run into Tyler Oakley
