Pregnant, maybe.

I'm thinking I might be pregnant. I'm not here to ask what the symptoms are and I'm not here to ask you if you think I'm pregnant, either, but just bare with me.

Last week is when I started to notice that my boobs were a little sore. Not to the point where I wanted to cry, but still noticable. Since then, they haven't been as bad as they were, but I can still feel a little throbbing.

When do you start feeling the quickening (or moving of the baby)? I was leaning up against a counter when I felt some odd movement in my stomach, which only led me to believe it more. I'm waiting to take a pregnancy test. I should be getting my period sometime next week. I still might take one afterwards, as I know you can still have something like your period while your pregnant. I'm worried and I haven't said anything to my boyfriend yet. I don't want him to flip his stuff, if you know what I mean.

Any suggestions on which home pregnancy test would be the best one?

If you haven't even missed your period yet, it's very, very unlikely that what you felt was quickening. That usually occurs about 14-15 weeks into your pregnancy.

Just wait it out and see if your period comes next week. If it doesn't, I suggest taking a First Response test. I took mine the day after my period was due and I got a clear, accurate result. I've heard good things about the digital tests too, but they're kind of expensive.

Best of luck. :)

You probably won't feel your baby kick until sometime between 16 and 22 weeks, even though he started moving at 7 or 8 weeks and you may have already witnessed his acrobatics if you've had an ultrasound.[/quote]Source: http://www.babycenter.com/0_fetal-mo...y-kick_2872.bc

You might want to check that^^ website out!

I've never been pregnant but I hear that the 'First Response Early Result' pregnancy test is best. I've also searched for ratings for you and they can be found [HERE].

I probably should have left out the quickening question, haha. I don't know. It was just weird.

But, thanks so much for all the help! I'm going to wait until next week to take the test and I will for sure look at those websites. I really do appreciate it!

Well, good luck Shannon. I know how waiting can be really nerve racking and rather stressful. But just hang in there until your period is actually late.

You wont feel the baby moving until around 5-6 months.

I took an EPT test (digital 5 day before missed period test) when I was pregnant and got the result back within seconds of peeing on it lol.

Haha. That happened to my ex's sister. She had to take two just to make sure she was seeing things correctly. I just hope I'm not. I don't need to be pregnant right now. I love kids and want to have them. My boyfriend is in the Army ROTC and won't get commisioned until '11. So, right now, neither of us could really afford to have a kid when we're both kids ourselves.
