Such thing as a pregnant virgin?
I was just wondering, excluding scientific intervention (eg IVF) is there any way to get pregnant without losing your virginity?

There are two types of sex. An agreed kind with both the girl and boy agreeing. And then there is rape. Now, in my opinion, rape doesn't count as sex because it is being forced on someone. Since a girl can get pregnant through rape yes, there is a way of getting pregnant without actually having sex. In my opinion of course.

actually you can. and yes im being serious. as my health teacher would say its about having contact with fluids. one sperm can make you pregnant like lets say you guys do other shit and he cum and then somehow that gets inside of you whether it be hand or whatever you want. it is possible and it has happened with someone i know. so be super careful.

Actually. It depends what you classify as sex. I was a pregnant virgin by my definition. Me and my ex were attempting to have sex. Between all the foreplay and trying to get int. He had pre-cummed some where around there and with that and being fingered. And then using toys. It had gotten up there. I had never had sex. He could never get in. But it did manage to get up there. Later the doctor confirmed I was pregnant. I freaked out, he left me. Being young and also taking the pill incorrectly i stressed myself out enough that my body treated the fetus as a foreign object and basically self aborted it. Therefore, by my definition of "penis in vagina" = sex. I did not have sex. Yet I did get pregnant. In summary, by being clueless and irresponsible and basically just making a mess with fluids everywhere you can get pregnant. One of my college professors had a similar incident and was also a pregnant virgin. A old friend of mine also did a hand job on her boyfriend, sperm was on her hand. Then sometime after that went into mutual masturbation, and also ended up getting pregnant. There are many stories online as well.
But as I stated above, depends on your definition of sex. If you count foreplay, fingering, blow jobs, etc as sex. Then fine none of these people listed were virgins. So take this information how you would like. |

It is possible ~ it happened to my best friend's aunt, honestly. If semen enters the vagina, whether on a guy's fingers or whatever, a girl can get pregnant. Although you'd probably have to be extremely fertile and quite unlucky....like my friend's aunt.

Thing is, sperm do not like the air. That is why we developed a delivery system that bypasses it. While YES, you can get pregnant while not having penile-vaginal sex... you would still have to get wet semen near her vagina. In which case... how much of a virgin can you be if his fresh seed can hit you THERE? And Erin, i will have to agree with you. Rape is not sex :P it never has and never will be about sex. |

I agree with Erin about rape not counting as losing your virginity. And unles you are Mary I've never heard of a pregnant virgin (minus rape).

It's a "maybe" answer depending on your definitions but a person by themselves with no help from anyone else can get pregnant via parthenogenesis. In humans, this often leads to miscarriage but a study in 2007 revealed human eggs can undergo parthenogenesis and possibly go full-term (need genetic manipulation though).
