my friend could be pregnant -
November 20th 2011, 12:01 PM
I don't know if she was joking or serious, but I'm a bit worried.
She told me on friday and I've been thinking about it. What if she's really pregnant?
She's 2 years older than me and she's been with her boyfriend for more than 2 years (not that this is important).
She said "I feel sick every morning and I throw up sometimes, but just in the morning when I wake up, and I'm a lot hungry".
I asked her if she has had her period or not and she told me she should have it in 2 weeks so my worries got lower, but I'm still a bit afraid.
I'm only 15 and I know less than nothing about pregnancy, but I'm a bit afraid for her. I mean, she's just 17!
Do you think she could be pregnant?

Just because she's sick in the morning, and even throws up doesn't mean that she's pregnant. Morning sickness isn't always limited to just 'mornings'. Morning sickness could go on ALL day. The only way for her to know for sure would be to take a pregnancy test.

No, she isn't.
She wasn't at school yesterday and today and she told me "if I'm absent means I have my period" so she isn't.
I'm really happy for her.
