Unhappy How to get pregnant with PCOS - November 9th 2011, 07:19 AM

My husband and I got married July 30, 2011 and would really love to have a baby. We havent used protection since April and still nothing. Unfortunately I have PCOS and two miscarriages in prior relationships so we know it'll be a challenge but were hoping to gain knowledge and get some advice on how to higher our chances. Please help.

Have you seen a specialist about it?

I would seriously consider seeing an OB/GYN who specialises in fertility if I were in your position, especially since you will have to work closely with one once you become pregnant due to risks etc.

There are several surgeries and treatments for this so you can have normal pregnancies. Most of the treatments or surgeries should allow you to get pregnant and have a normal pregnancy.

I would also suggest an OB/GYN. Otherwise

Here are two links I think you will find helpful. Specifically made for women trying to get pregnant with PCOS:

Good luck - don't give up

As others have said, visiting an OB/GYN about this sort of thing would probably get you more answers. An OB/GYN who specializes in fertility.

I would also take a look at those links that Kelly has so graciously provided for you.

Don't give up hope. Many woman who don't have PCOS find it hard to get pregnant as well; your time will come.
