i wouldn't worry just yet - she's still a little small to be 'borrowing' her mommy's clothes and shoes!

Wrapping some Christmas presents while Aurora is taking her afternoon nap. You gotta love snow days!
Aurora fell asleep at 10 pm last night, then got up twice (once at 1 and once at 3:30) to be fed for about 15 minutes each time, then fell asleep and didn't wake up until 9 am. And now she's asleep again! You can definitely tell this is my child, because she loves the two things in this world that I love too: food and sleep!

My princess is two months old!!!!!!
Aurora is sporting a cute little softball outfit that Aunt Libby (my sister) got her. Libby thinks that she'll be a better softball player that I was cause Aurora's daddy was a good baseball player...I was just a decent one.
Don't worry, I have a big jacket for her! It's just that my car heats up reeeeeeally fast and it gets HOT so I took it off for the moment so I could take this picture!

My precious baby girl slept through the night! 9 weeks today! But the sad part is she will be rewarded with shots at her 2-month appointment
You know, it's actually freezing out today, but it is so HOT in my house. And my dad refuses to turn the heat down a notch.
Gr...ah well. Aurora looks adorable in that outfit

(Great) Grandma Teresa's Christmas was today. Aurora absolutely loved it. She got so many cute toys and outfits!
And hopefaithlove, I'm actually not entirely sure, because it's in my car right now and I'm too lazy to go look at this second. I want to say EvenFlo or Graco, but I'm probably wrong. I know it's an infant car seat, because it doubles as a carrier too.

I see. I'm a Child Passenger Safety Technician, so this is something I'm very passionate about. It really doesn't look like an infant seat I've ever seen because of the harness. The harness should look like a seat belt material. It should go over both of her shoulders and the chest clip should be at armpit level. While rear facing, the straps must be at or below her shoulders, not above. If you were to get in an accident with her like that, there is no way that she would stay in the seat. I'm just saying this because I care a lot about the safety of babies, toddlers, and young children in the car. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Could you take a picture of the seat for me? It looks like a swing or bouncy seat thing to me from the picture, but I could be wrong.
Once again, I don't mean to over step my boundaries. I just have a general concern for babies in the car because parents don't always recognize how easy it is to have the seat installed incorrectly or the baby not in it properly.

Oh it goes over both arms, I just didn't strap her all the way in yet. And thanks for your concern, lol. My mom saw the picture and freaked out because she saw that too, but yeah, she's just not strapped in all the way when I took the picture. But she was afterward

Ah okay. Just making sure.
That's definitely not a car seat though. The harness straps are different on a car seat. Are you definitely using the right type thing?

Yup, it says car seat on the box (I kept the box just in case lol). My mom also said the same thing and I called the company and they said it was some new thing or something? I don't know...I'm probably going to get a new one anyway because the material is ripping. I have a new one in mind and I like it a lot more than this one. It's pink! haha

Maybe I am off and I apologize in advance if I am... But that is a stroller. Those straps aren't used on car seats, but from the straps, the things that tighten the straps, and the sides, its a stroller. The straps on a car seat are much thicker, like a seat belt almost.

That is definitely not a carseat. It looks like a stroller to me too, and there is no way of mistaking a carseat for a stroller.

And if they said it was "new" then the company doesn't know what they're talking about. Car seats have to have the straps that are stronger, like seat belts, to keep her restrained in an accident. What company? I'd be VERY concerned.

Hm...well I have a stroller with the same design. And my car seat has the same straps in design but they are different in where they hook and whatnot, which my mom always complains about because she says the car seat straps are weird.
And to be truthful, I didn't take this picture...my mom did when I was out with my boyfriend. I didn't want you guys to think I was a bad mom because I went out
I think this might have been in the stroller because my mom took Aurora to the mall that day. I'm going to go ask her right now...
*EDIT!!!* My mom said she took this in the mall with her stroller. Thank god, because you guys were starting to get me worried, thinking I was putting my daughter in danger by putting her in that stroller! LOL! Alright, well I'm much less stressed now.

People won't think you're a bad mom for going out. In fact, it's probably better for you and Aurora that you get some "me" time. All moms need time to themselves sometimes. It probably makes you a better mother that you realize you need some time to yourself to unwind.
I'm just happy that it's not a problem with her carseat. If you have any questions about anything carseat related, please PM me and I'll be glad to help.

Hope everyone is having a great Christmas eve! Mine and Aurora's is wonderful so far! My family has many fun traditions on Christmas eve and I love that I get to share them with Aurora! We woke up and all had a family breakfast at the same restaurant we always do every year (I brought some boob juice in a bottle for Princess lol). Then tonight we will open gifts from siblings and for Aurora, gifts from everyone but mommy and grandma & grandpa since we got her so many, then my mom gets everyone special new pjs and we wear them to bed, and she got some for Aurora too!! I'm so excited!

Merry Christmas everyone!!! What a beautiful morning! Aurora slept until 7:30. I actually feel rested! Aurora loves her presents from Santa, and I got her a cute little winter mobile for her crib. She loves staring at it! Unfortunetely all we have is a video of her opening her presents, no pictures. But if I can get stills from the video, I will post them.
