I'm pregnant. -
October 14th 2009, 07:12 AM
My bestfriend Dan took me to go buy a pregnancy test today and we went and picked up my boyfriend and went to my friends house.
I pee'd on a stick and there was a giant + sign staring back at me.
My boyfriend cried and threw up in the street.
but he's okay now.
I just have to figure out how to tell my beloved parents.
I think were going to tell his first... that'll be my test run.
holy cow.
PRAYER??
tips?
omg

Im praying for you.
Dont really have much advice.. just make sure you dont back out of telling..
When I had to tell my mum I was pregnant, I just said I needed to talk to her,
made sure there was time set aside for us to talk properly and then just
simply said 'Im pregnant'
Keep it simple.
Good Luck

Yep, keep it simple! I just told my mom and handed her the test. You're an adult, what are they really going to say? Lol my mom was like I didn't give you permission to use your big girl parts yet!

My advice, if you don't want the child find people who would be willing to adopt him at birth, if not make sure you have the money to raise them properly.

I agree with everyone else... you just have to come out and say it. But my advice is to tell her when you are in a really good mood and feeling really excited about the baby. I was so nervous when I told my mom I started crying because I was afraid of her reaction. She ended up being excited about the baby, but worried because she thought that I wasn't happy about it lol.

all you can hope and ask for is their support in this and I pray you get it.

Usually parents take it pretty well because they know that there is nothing they can do but be happy that they are going to be grandparents in a few months. I'm glad you told her and goodluck with your pregnancy!

I hope that your parents are willing to help you out. It seems as if your boyfriend took it hard, how is he now? Have you all considered your options, or is your only option keeping the baby? How are you feeling about all of it?
Best of luck! xx

My mom is being very supportive.
I moved in with my boyfriend and his family
My house has cats and open insulation just wasnt comfortable being pregnant there.
This all happened so fast.
I cried for the first time about it with my boyfriend lastnight.

Yeah it is a lot to handle when you're young. I was 16 when i got pregnant with my oldest boy. I was scared and excited all at the same time. It did help because both of our parents were very supportive.

I am glad you have your living situation better suited for you. I hope you start feeling a bit better. I know the initial shock is something else entirely. In fact, to this day, I sit and all of a sudden I will look at my boyfriend and be like, "We are going to be parents!". He will just laugh at me, but I know for a second we are both truly realizing the responsibility and seriousness of our situation.
Best of luck with your pregnancy hon! Keep us updated! xx
