You can become pregnant at anytime during your cycle, and for everyone the chances of getting pregnant during different parts of their cycle is different. Yes there is normally a time of ovulation, but that does not mean you might not ovulate another egg during your cycle. And it can happen; this is how some women get pregnant even though they had sex on the last few days of their period. It is possible, is it highly likely, not really. But is this really something you are willing to risk? Every woman is different, and cycles are different. It is always best to use protection all the time. It is just not worth getting pregnant over.
