can I be pregnant? -
November 10th 2024, 07:27 PM
Last month, on the 7th day of my cycle (one day after my period ended), I gave a blowjob to my partner and I had some ejaculate on my thighs. Not really upper thighs. A little lower than that. I washed it off. Now my period is late for about 3 days and I'm freaking out if any of the semen had got into my vagina. But I can't understand how because I was literally wearing panties and shorts and the semen wasn't even near there. I think I had some very little spotting today and that's driving my anxiety harder since I have no pms. Please help.

Hey,
It doesn't sound like you're pregnant because it doesn't sound like any sperm actually got into your vagina. You had underwear and shorts on, and you said the semen wasn't even near there, so it's really unlikely that it went through all of those layers.
There are a lot of things that can affect your period such as stress, being sick recently, weight loss/gain, intense exercise, etc. Sometimes our cycles are also just thrown off one month. If it continues to be an issue I'd talk to a doctor. You can also take a pregnancy test after your missed period.
Best of luck!

Hi, it is very very unlikely you are pregnant. To get pregnant you have to have had penetrative sex.
Periods can be late for all sorts of reasons, mine varies a few days from each cycle, sometimes it might come a couple of days early or a couple of days late.
The more you worry about your period being late, the more anxious you will become, try not to stress about it and in a couple of days or so you will most likely get your period.
if you are really worried about it you could always talk to a DR or nurse for some reassurance.
'There will be bad days, there will be good days, there will be really bad days, and really good days, and days that are not bad or good but just simply suck, but either way you got through it and you are here today and that is all that really matters''

I can imagine that would be scary, but like others have said it's very difficult to get pregnant without penetration of some sort. Blow jobs are typically a safe option even if you can't always control where the semen ends up going. It's probably a good idea to clean it off yourself immediately anyway as a rule though.

I’d rather have it done to me that way on a date because I would be paranoid about a girl getting pregnant because of me.

Hello there,
I don't think you would be pregnant as you would need to have had penetrative sex. As you mentioned, the semen did not go near your vagina so it can be unlikely that you would fall pregnant.
Periods tend to be late for all sorts of reasons such as stress. Mine is always late but if you are worried, you can see your doctor who will be able to give you some answers.

Don't worry, you're not pregnant. Take a test if you want but it will be surely negative.
