Exclamation Pregnant or not? What to do? - June 16th 2016, 09:45 AM

I'm on day 48 of my cycle and my average cycle lasts 36 days. I had protected sex 13 days back. I neither have any symptoms of pregnancy nor menstruation. No vaginal discharge now but I had discharge until few days back But I feel PMSy and I have been feeling this way for more than 2 weeks now. I've planned on taking a test at home in a few days. Could I actually be pregnant? And if I am, are abortion pills expensive or affordable?

Thank you.

Hey there,

I can't tell you if you are pregnant or not but if you had protected sex then the chances are probably slim. If you are on birth control that can sometimes cause your period to not come. If you aren't on birth control it is still possible for a person to miss their period due to stress or a number of other issues.

I would suggest that you take a test two weeks from the last time you had sex. I think taking a test will help you feel better about this situation.

Unfortunately I don't know how expensive abortion pills are. If you do end up finding out if you are pregnant I am sure this is something you could talk to your doctor about.

Best of luck.

Hey,

So you are now in the window to take a pregnancy test and it give you an accurate result. You can buy them for less than ten dollars at any grocery store or pharmacy. They only take a couple minutes to work, so a quick response time! It's definitely worth the peace of mind. As for pregnancy symptoms, you wouldn't be having any this soon, the only way to know if you are pregnant is to take a test.

I wouldn't worry about what comes next until you know you need to worry. There is no point in stressing yourself out over something that may not be true. Just take a test and then go from there.

It's been two weeks since the sex, so you can take a pregnancy test and find out. If the sex was protected, you're likely fine, but if you're late I'd definitely suggest you double check. Once you find out, if you are pregnant, we can help you through your next options. Abortion pills vary in price depending on what country you live in, and I can help you find all of that information if necessary. Good luck!
