Am I pregnant??
Hi
I'm a bit confused whether I'm spotting or if I'm on my period. So my last period ended at around july 16 and i had sex right after that. But the condom broke without him ejaculating and we replaced it with a new one right after we found out. My periods are always irregular so I was about a week late. However, i was on vacation from july 10- aug 9 so my diet and lifestyle was totally different where i had many many cold foods which i thought was the cause of what my "period" is now. I was feeing completely fine from then until i returned back from vacation so i didnt suspect anything. After returning from my vacation, i think i caught the flu along with symptoms of dizziness and nausea. But i'm not sure if it's from the lack of sleep, jetlag, and my sickness. My periods are usually never that heavy but currently, it's lighter than usual. I started getting a tiny bit of blood on aug 16th and the flow started to increase but i'm still unsure. The colour started out brown but now is red. I'm not sure if i'm pregnant but i was hoping to take a test after my period ends but i'm not sure when is the right time to check and if its too late. Please help!!! |
Re: Am I pregnant??
You can take a test two weeks after having unprotected sex and it will be accurate. I think that if you guys replaced the condom and he did NOT ejaculate in you, you are totally fine. I understand that this sorta thing can be worrisome, so if you need to take a test to put your mind at ease, that may be your best bet.
I hope this helps, and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. |

Re: Am I pregnant??
I doubt it because your still having a period, but I'm not a girl...
Just keep in mind that having an inconvenient surprise baby at 20 isn't the worst thing in the world. I have 5 Facebook friends out of 150 within ages 18-20 who are either having children or already have them, and they are all extremely happy (eh, according to Facebook). But they are receiving a ton of support, and you could too if this does happen. You just gotta know where to look. |
