I guess this would be considered puberty - March 1st 2009, 08:51 PM

I'm in my second year of high school, and I still get like BAD pit stains in school.. i know its gross : /

I constantly have to wear a jacket or a long sleeve shirt, idk if its because im not confident with myself? but this only happens in school.

When im at home I dont sweat at all, or when im out with friends even with a big group of people, its just in school.

I use all types of deodorant but none seem to do the trick, is it all in my head?

Hm, my sister used to have this problem. What she did was spray a spritz of hairspray on her armpits before school and bam, the problem went away. I know that's quite bizarre and I'm sure I sound quite crazy, but it worked for her, so maybe it will work for you. Orrr it might've been in her mind and she mentally told herself that when she used hairspray, it would stop the sweating, and it did, physically. Which is cool, if you ask me. By the way, I think I'm going to move your thread to General Health to be with the rest of these sorts of threads.

Also, Secret Clinical Strength is lovely. It smells good, too. Particularly the athletic kind. [:

Try Katrinas suggestion, if that dosen't work for you, go to the doctots, they can prescribe a special type of deodrant for you.
My friend had this exact problem and the deodrant worked really well for her, but she decided to have an operation on the sweat glands in her arm pits for long term

Hiya,

There is a special roll on called 'Dryclor'

I used to sweat SO much, but I gave the dryclor a go, & it really stops you sweating.

I don't think it's surgery. They inject Botox into your sweat glands and it stops the sweating for up to 6 months, I think.
