Sex Without a Condom? -
October 15th 2009, 05:22 AM
So for the first time, I had sex without a condom today. No worries, I've been on the pill since last November. My boyfriend and I just wanted to try this out, and to be honest, I didn't feel much of a different except for it felt a lot warmer. My boyfriend definitely felt the difference a lot more, he said it felt COMPLETELY different for him. I'm wondering if it's just me, or do other girls feel the same way? I'm wondering if maybe there was just lubrication lacking.
But anyway, I'd just like to see what other girls (or guys) have to say about this.

Eh i dont think it feel a lot different, except like you said just warmer and it tends to get wetter because the guys stuff is kicking in as well lol. But the feeling is much more intense for men. If i weren't allergic to condoms i wouldn't be able to tell the difference to be honest.

Im the same, I can barely tell the difference between sex with a condom and sex without. I actually prefer sex with a condom because it makes less mess. However, I prefer sex without a condom if we've got hormones raging and wanting to get it on quick

I've only had sex with two different women, one time with a condom...the other time without (she wasn't on birth control, so I put myself into huge risk...but I didn't go inside of her and there's a very high chance that she's not pregnant based on the results and that she started her period 3-4 days ago so...thank God for that). I think that there's gotta be SOME kind of protection going on, and that's great that you were on the birth control, because I almost fucked myself big time.
With that being said, I couldn't really tell a noticeable difference between wearing a condom and not wearing a condom. It was warmer and possibly slight better feeling, but I couldn't really tell. But there's a lot of factors when it comes to sex, so it's always possible that I just wasn't aroused enough and all this shit. I could of went all day with her, lol.

I think guys really notice the difference much more than girls do. I found that it felt a lot mroe intimate with just bare skin, but apart from that sensation was the same.

It's a big difference for me. I think that it's so much better without the condom. (As long as you're on birth control, of course!)

Re: Sex Without a Condom? -

Personally, I hate condoms. But, a lot of that has come from the fact that they irritate me pretty bad, and I always feel as if I just had sex with sandpaper afterwards because of the irritation. Anyhow!
If you are protected in other ways and in a stable relationship, STD free, etc. then I think condoms are a waste of time. Just my opinion. As long as you are taking all other precautions and have backup - that kind of thing.
But, having used condoms before I do like the lack of a mess afterwards. That is nice. But, I feel like there is a barrier when I use a condom and so it isn't as intimate a time as it would be without a condom. In my experience.

I had sex without a condom. I liked it much more, and so did he. Yep, it was a lot wetter and warmer and really gooey (ick). So....that's my two cent.

Thanks guys!
Yeah I agree with the intimacy thing, I did feel like it was different because it was bare skin to bare skin, not bare skin to latex, haha. But yeah, I agree with the "wetter" part, because that's the biggest difference we both noticed.
Thanks (: I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt like it didn't feel THAT much different.

Yeah, the only real difference for a girl is that it's more intimate. A guy feels more cause he gets direct contact. I've only had sex using a condom once (I'm on birth control), and both my boyfriend and I preferred it without. I do like the extra protection I get with a condom though.

You know that they make condoms out of stuff other than latex, right?
Quote:
Male Polyurethane (Plastic) Condoms
The main drawbacks to latex condoms are their bad taste, plus only water-based lubricants can be used with them (oil makes them fall apart). Some people are allergic to latex.
So what's the alternative? It's the polyurethane condom. This condom is sold under the brand name, "Avanti." It costs about $8 for six condoms (that comes out to $16 a dozen, twice the price of latex condoms).
The benefits of these condoms is that they can be used for people who are allergic to latex, and that they don't taste bad if you're using them for oral sex (yes, I have tasted them, and found they have no bad taste at all). These condoms can be used with any type of lubricant, oil or water-based.
Besides the high cost, it is still not known how much protection they will offer against HIV/AIDS and STDs. As long as they don't break or fall off, they should offer adequate protection, since HIV and other STDs will not pass through polyurethane. But studies are still being done to determine how often they break or fall off.

My boyfriend had never had sex without a condom before, and then when we did have it without one (i'm on the pill) he said the feeling was so much better and it almost felt like he'd lost his virginity again as the sensation was making him finish quicker.
I definately noticed a difference, it felt so much more intimate and it felt like I was making love to him instead of a condom.

I think it would depend on what condoms you use too... If your using a thicker extra safe, your going to feel more without
How can one love themselves, when they love absolutely nothing?
Do something that is interesting. If it is not interesting, find out why it is not interesting.

Not from experience or anything, but I would have to agree with this. I bet a lot of the different sensations are simply from the condom you use. If you always go for extra thick, removing it will change the feeling a LOT more than if you are used to the extra thin ones.
