It’s concerning to me that you’re wearing two pads and two pairs of underwear at one time and still bleed through everything. As long as you change things regularly that shouldn’t happen. It sounds like something medical is going on here and I strongly urge you to see a doctor about this. You can become anemic or suffer other health issues from extremely heavy bleeding, and you might have an undiagnosed medical condition causing this that needs treated.

You should let someone know what is going on that you trust. A parent and tell them about this and see if they can take you to the doctor so they can help you. I hope you will be okay soon.

I used to have very heavy periods at your age. It may be a matter of changing regularly. When you say bleed through, is it spots on the side? Do you have pads with wings?
The only reason I'm not saying it sounds like a medical issue is because it was very common for me to bleed through and I definitely did the 2 pads, two underwear thing as a preteen and teen. But that doesn't help if in my sleep I'm moving around and the pads get bunched to the side and leaks because of that.
Alao I am curious instead of wearing two pads on top of one another if you can get heavy or overnight pads with wings and extra long so it covers the entire underwear and wear 1 at a time. The double pads could actually be positioned in a way that makes it easier to leak at the edges.

Hi Ica,
I've also dealt with heavy periods for most of my life, so I can definitely understand how frustrating this is.
Are you also bleeding through your pads and underwear during the day? If it's only happening when you're sleeping, it may have something to do with the way you move when you sleep. Unfortunately, pads aren't always the most secure and can move without a lot of effort, especially if you're wearing looser clothing when you go to bed. Rather than wearing two pads simultaneously, it may be helpful for you to look into overnight pads with wings, as those are typically longer and will adhere better. They also make overnight pads specifically designed for heavy flows, which might give you an extra layer of protection.
However, if you're finding that you are also bleeding through your pads and underwear during the day, seeking medical advice may be a good idea. A heavy flow doesn't necessarily mean there is a deeper medical issue but, as Dez said, that amount of blood loss can lead to issues such as anemia. Having a conversation with your doctor about it will help eliminate any concerns and allow you to receive proper treatment if there is something medical contributing to or caused by your heavy flow.
Take care,
