Is this normal? - February 6th 2023, 02:59 AM

I've been having sensations in my thigh, not for the first time. I've explained it before as a feeling I suppose of emptiness, warmth, some kind of feeling there. I guess you could say craving or arousal - in other words it's sexual. But I'm wondering if it's normal or if I should be concerned by its frequency.

You say it's like arousal or sexual. If it's an aroused feeling, it's definitely normal for you to get aroused! People experience sensations in different parts of the body and there's no shame in getting aroused unless it's starting to impact your daily life. If it's distracting, try and find things to do that take your focus like exercising or watching a movie to focus on something other than the feeling of being aroused.
If anything starts to hurt, go numb, things like that then I'd ask a doctor. Or if you don't think it's sexual, it would be important to ask just to be sure.

As Dez said, people experience feelings associated with arousal in so many different areas of the body. It could just be that that area is slightly more sensitive when you're feeling aroused. If that's the case, it's perfectly normal! However, if you notice it frequently when you're not experiencing arousal or if there is any pain associated with it, I would recommend speaking to a doctor just to be sure there isn't anything going on.
