White stuff on penis -
October 30th 2021, 04:29 AM
I lost my virginity last week and since then white and yellow gooey stuff keeps apearring on my penis under my forskin. I shower every morning and clean under the foreskin but it just comes back by lunch time. Do i have an sti? Ive done sexual stuff before but last week was my first time doing proper sex with a girl, she was also a lot older than me so maybe that has something to do with it, im worried though

Reason: Please do not post photos of your genitals on the site - it goes against the CoC, and is dangerous if you are a minor.

Hi
First of all, welcome to TeenHelp! I hope you're getting used to the site and finding it helpful so far.
Unfortunately nobody here is able to give medical advice, and nobody here is able to diagnose you. I would say that it would be worth visiting a doctor though based on what you're saying is it could be an STI. Anything which is unusual to you, should always be checked by a doctor so that you can get it treated if needed.
It's also important that you're practicing safe sex by using protection and regularly getting checked for STIs. This is especially important if you are going to be sexually active with somebody older, and therefore potentially with a larger sexual history than your own. Remember you don't have to have sex with anybody if you're unsure that it will be safe for you. That being said, please be careful if you are a minor and she is older than you. I'm not sure how old you are, but if you are under the age of consent and she is over it, then she should not be sexually active with you in any way.
I hope this helps and that you get this checked out.

Hello there,
Welcome to TeenHelp!!
I second what Hollie said - we are not medical professionals so we're unable to point towards what it exactly could be. However, there are a couple of things to bear in mind here:
1) While this was your "proper" sexual experience, you stated that you've done other sexual things.
2) The girl you had sex with is an older girl, and someone possibly with sexual experience with other partners.
Having sexual contact with multiple partners can raise the risk of spreading STDs. While the phenomenon you're experiencing might be harmless and nothing to do with an STD, I would think your best bet is to go to the doctor. That way, we'll have a peace of mind on knowing what the issue is. It might be scary to go to the doctor regarding this, but remember - knowledge is power! It's better to be aware of what is going on so that we can do something about it.

the white stuff under the foreskin is called smegma, it is nothing dangerous. its the body's natural way to combat dryness, you could try to avoid using soap when cleaning because it will dry out the skin and make it irritated.
since you just had sex it would be good to get checked by a doctor regardless just to be safe
