I had my nexplanon removed July 6th. I have not gotten a new one and will not for a while.
After it was removed, I had a "period" at the end of the month. It was short like 1 or 2 days and relatively light. I did not have a period in August. I just had a period over this past weekend. It was about three days.
When I talked to the gynecologist, they said it would be normal for my period to come in lighter and be shorter.
Does anyone have any information on if this lasts long term or just till my body regulates.
I'm not going back on the nexplanon until my cycle regulates for a while so maybe next year? Idk. My doctor might put pressure on me to get it but I'm hoping we can hold off.
.
I'm a bit freaked out by this because infertility is a big trigger for me. I don't care to go into why but it's been an anxiety.
I will be trying to call my doctor sometime tomorrow but I'm supposed to be quite busy.
