Sorry about my bad spelling. I’m in my teens and I’ve started to do it... I feel bad but it feels good and I don’t know what to do. Also can someone give me some advice on the subject.
Hey there and welcome to TeenHelp! I hope we can help you find the answers you seek.
I think it's common for people, especially young people, to feel guilty engaging in masturbation, but it's actually 100% normal and okay! Aside from abstinence, solo sex is the safest form of sexual acts. It feels good and releases chemicals that make your brain and body happy. There's no need to feel guilty about it! Many, many people of all ages masturbate. It's normal and perfectly natural to want to explore your body.
Now, if masturbating becomes distracting, keeps you from completing necessary tasks, or you feel out of control with it, you might want to consider cutting back on how many times a day you engage, or you may want to speak to a trusted friend or safe adult about it. But honestly, if it makes you happy go for it.
Good luck, and feel free to PM me if you need anything.
