My husband didn't hit puberty until he was 18. Same for lots of the boys in his family. I'd mention it to your doctor but wouldn't worry too much. You're probably just a late bloomer.

Some people start earlier than others. It's probably nothing to worry about, but if it is worrying you, do mention it to your doctor.

Re: Not started puberty yet.

I had a friend whose mom didn't start her period until she was 17 and her mom said that because of that it took her a bit longer to go into full blown puberty. People go into puberty at different rates and at different times. Some people might go into puberty but it will be a slower process etc.

My brother had a friend who didn't hit puberty till he was 16 or 17. Up until then he was relatively short and always looked younger than his peers. What seemed like overnight, he grew a ton and started looking his age or older.
It might be worth mentioning to your doctor. They might not feel that it's anything to worry about but it will make them aware of the issue so that they can check in with you about it periodically.

Best regards.

Hey,
Just something to remember, puberty is different in different people. You may not have shown a huge increase in muscle mass or facial hair and thats fine. Sometimes you just put on height. Its a common enough factor (i know many males who didn't have the "puberty" hit till they were 18, but they had grown taller, and when they started working out, shown muscle gain).
You could discuss it with your doctor, if that would make you feel better. Really, don't worry too much. Stay healthy, eat clean, exercise etc. and you should be OK
