Late Period - December 4th 2016, 10:30 AM

Just a bit concerned as my period is 9 days late. There is no chance of pregnancy at all and I haven't really been particularly stressed or anything this past week so I don't know what could have caused it. I had a few very mild back pains a couple of days ago which is normally an indicator of my period but it ain't here :/ so just wondering what might have happened

Re: Late Period - December 4th 2016, 03:11 PM

Are your periods usually regular or irregular? If they are usually irregular, it would be best to talk to your doctor or gynaecologist just to check things out. If your periods are usually regular, and this is just a random late one, it shouldn't be a huge cause for concern.

You've mentioned that you aren't stressed, but I'm wondering if anything else might've changed like exercise or eating habits? If we lose weight quickly this can disrupt our periods.

For now, try not to worry too much about a late period. If it doesn't come next month, it's probably worth checking out with a doctor.
