So I got my period for the first time exactly a month ago. And I just got it again... so does this mean it's already really regular or is it just a coincidence? like can I assume it will happen the same time next month?
Thanks guys

Congratulations on getting your first period! I remember my first two periods were nearly exactly a month apart to the day. However, I've had mine for almost four years and it is still slightly irregular. I personally think that it's a coincidence. Feel free to message me if you have any questions or anything you'd like to discuss.

I can't say for certain if it will be irregular or stay regular, as every woman is different. I will tell you, though, that it is definitely very common for people to be irregular when they start their period (I still am unless I take birth control) so don't be worried if you're a bit irregular for a while. It's probably normal.

congratulations! its probably a coincidence. after i got mine it was a couple months until my next one. it started to be more regular after about a year, but recently it was delayed by stress, and now i get it a week later than i used to, so don't be surprised if it moves around a bit even after you've had it for a while.

I agree with the ones above. Like it's really weird how they work. My second took another month late. They aren't exactly a month apart some can be sooner some can be later. But usually it hits the month range. But it takes a couple of them to become more regular over time. So nothing to worry about when you first get it

Chances are is that it probably won't stay this regular just yet, it can take up to a year or two to regulate completely, and for some people it never does. Congrats on becoming a lady, though!

Mine were mostly regular from the start, but even now, many years on, they can occasionally be a week early or a week late. Different things can effect it. I think its just something you have to wait and see about. You can start tracking your periods, and have a good idea of when they might happen.

When I first got mine it was every 23 days exactly, but then it got a little more irregular. But even when it's regular, that doesn't necessarily mean it'll fall on the same days of each month since not every month has the same number of days.

It could change, but I would assume for now that it's regular. Stress, diet, & other things can affect that though which can make it irregular later on.
