Depo-Provera injection: Really weird "period"
I had the injection last month (for the first time) and I'm having a really odd "period" right now. It's REALLY light, I have no cramps but it has lasted for about a week (mine normally last about 3-4 days) Is that normal? *) I know it can make your "periods" chaotic for the first 3 months or so but I didn't expect something like this.

Yes, this is normal with depo. They'll just be odd for the first few months. :) this sounds about how my sister's was as well.

Good good :) I didn't want to change to yet another form of contraception. I'm still bleeding -_____- hope it stops soon.

Oh lord that sounds amazing. I got the shot and it made me bleed for MONTHS until they put me back on the pill. But yeah it will regulate and then eventually you will not get a period anymore.

Oh God, that sounds awful :/ I thought it had stopped last night but it hasn't.

Until it reaches two weeks, I'd still say it's fairly normal. Past then, I'd consider calling your doctor.
