Vagina hurting during period - July 31st 2013, 01:51 PM
I'm hoping this is normal but My like vagina gets really sore when my period comes, it usually happens after the first day and it hurts like a bitch, like it becomes swollen on the inside and it's tender and it just hurts.

I don't know, the name for it or why...but I'm just double checking if that's normal

It's normal, I often find I feel heavy and tender down below when I have a period, it can vary from period to period though.

It's most likely to be the muscles contracting, and it could also be a lack or deficiency in calcium which adds to the discomfort (mum's a nurse!)

It's cold comfort
To the ones without it
To know how they struggled
How they suffered about it
If their lives were exotic and strange
They would likely have gladly exchanged them
For something a little more plain
Maybe something a little more sane

I find it only happens to me when I'm really heavy or short of something in my diet, I think it is very normal though.
