No period.. still worried. -
June 2nd 2013, 06:28 PM
Almost 16. Still no period. I know I'm probably freaking over nothing but honestly I am freaking out. My mom had hers when she was young.
I'm not even that underweight. Can bad nutrition keep it from coming? Or is it just the underweight aspect?
Im just so nervous that I'll never get it.
Only you have the power to say,
"This is not how my story will end"

It'll come when it comes, don't worry.
It may be because you're underweight or not eating enough, or maybe you just aren't supposed to have it yet. When it's supposed t happen, it'll happen! Don't worry.

Don't stress. It can also postpone it. But it'll happen when your body is ready no worries. My best friend started when she was 11 I didn't start till freshman year and then I also know a girl who hasn't started yet and she just turned 17. You'll be fine. No worries(:

Hey,
I know you are worried now, but before you know it you will be sick of them after it first starts. If you are really that concerned, maybe go speak to a doctor and see what they suggest and make sure everything is okay. Check your diet. Are you eating regularly? Are you active alot? Those can have two huge factors on the cycle.
Don't fret too much and think about seeking a doctors advice.

It's time to begin, isn't it?
I get a little bit bigger, but then I'll admit
I'm just the same as I was
Now don't you understand
That I'm never changing who I am

There's quite a lot of factors that can play into this. Especially since you have an eating disorder, it could be lack of nutrients you need, and being underweight in general. Being active, and stress can play a part as well. I do suggest talking about this with a doctor though, just to be sure.
