Major unwanted erection problem -
April 6th 2009, 03:04 AM
Hey everyone, my younger brother has a major problem and just want to know if anyone else has heard of anyone having such a major unwanted erection problem.
Basically I got him to tell me what was going on, well it was hard for him to hide it!
I've done some research on guys getting unwanted erections and I know it's quite a normal part of growing up, but he's like way over the top of anything else I've read about.
He's 14 and he gets erections whenever he sees cleavage, it doesn't matter if it's a hot girl, ugly, old, young, friend, relative, large or small breasts, absolutely any cleavage!
We live right near the beach and this has stopped him going to the beach for the past 2 years. If he masturbates it doesn't go away for long, as soon as he comes out of the toilet block it pops up as soon as he sees a girl in a bikini.
I don't mean to laugh, but it's hard to hide, the thing is really huge!
It's a big problem for him, our mother has large breasts and he gets a hard-on whenever she wears anything that shows cleavage, or is wearing her swimmers to use the pool.., Ewwwww!!
I don't think our mother has noticed, but she probably wonders about his weird behaviour sometimes or when he just disappears (to hide his erection)
We live in a warm climate, so there's always girls around showing a bit of cleavage, it must be quite difficult for him.
I don't think he's a pervert or anything, well, no more than any other guy his age!
I just want to be able to give him some useful advice, I know he'd never go to a doctor or talk to anyone about it.
If it's just a part of guys growing up, he must have a very bad case of it!
I only got him to tell me cause it was very obvious what was happening and I demanded an explanation. He has sworn me to secrecy, but this is anonymous, so I feel safe asking here.

I'm unsure what advice to give, honestly, though I have heard of males having a problem this bad before. If it's been going on this long and is interfering with his life, my biggest piece of advice would be to see his doctor. Honestly. They may be able to do something to help him with this issue, since it has been affecting his life in such a large manner.

Ask a doctor for clear solution... if not then, I don't know what else... I've always control my thought and avert my eyes... so it is not really hard... for me. But I don't know what else to solve... My sympathy and Sorry for not being able to help.

I hate to say it, but your brother sounds like a normal 14 y/o. Most brothers would be too embarrassed to talk to a sister about that. It's good of you to talk to him without pretending you're freaked out by it.
I was so much like that at 14 that I couldn't take off my clothes in the locker room without getting a hard on. I missed a lot of showers like that.
Just let him know it's normal and you're not grossed out. A loose swimsuit with an athletic supporter (jock strap) underneath should solve the loggerhead problem. He can tuck it down in front so that it pokes down when it gets hard will minimize the outward appearance. Other than that, most people know teen boys get erections & the world doesn't come to an end.

Think of something gross, thats the best thing i can think of.
Id practice that a little bit, like have him look at a picture with a girl showing cleavage, then make him think of something that grosses him out while looking at the picture, try that for a few days and then after a while he'll be able to control it

We started dating 11/22/08 He told me he loved me on his 8th birthday And i never believed he still would After all that time.... until the day that changed my life

Trust me it's normal. Between age's 12 and 15 it's not unexpected for guy's to having raging boners, etc. It can be awkward, yes, but nothing I would think that would land him in trouble. I don't really think you, as a sister, can do much to help that.

Seconded. It's an inevitable part of growing up, I think concealing is going to be a lot more productive than trying to prevent.
