The C word.

They sat us down,
Faces all long and sad,
They said the C word,
Two years old,
Just starting to explore the world,
What did you do to deserve this?
Your so young its not right,
You've gotta fight just to live,
They said the C word,
It stung like hell,
Hit the core like a bullet,
The C word,
it doesn't care who it choses,
or whos lives it takes,
Two years old and dying,
The C word..
Cancer.
