Sometimes she doesn't know what else to do
So sometimes she gathers all of the food that her tired arms can carry
And hides it away.
It's her little secret.
No one else will see. No one else will know.
When night comes around,
When everyone else is fast asleep,
Including all those people who have created this,
She loses all control
And soon all the food has gone.
She know nothing has changed
And perhaps never will.
But this is the only thing she can control.
The only thing that makes her feel better.
It's her little secret.
No one will ever see.
No one will ever know.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
I agree, there's definitely a story here. I liked the repetition and the mentions of doing it for control. Keep hanging on.
If clarity's in death, then why won't this die?
Years of tearing down our banners, you and I
Living for the thrill of hitting you where it hurts Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first
