success is apparantly everything,
or so they say,
its your life and your future,
its everything you are ,
thats what they say,
wake up every day trying to succeed,
only to fail and feel unfullfilled,
get a job,
stop being a slob,
come on succeed,
success is apprantly everything
or so they say
but what happens when
your only success is getting out of bed?
with a heart heavy and full of dread?
as you try to escape your own head?
its an internal battle no body sees,
yet they say you gotta succeed.
'There will be bad days, there will be good days, there will be really bad days, and really good days, and days that are not bad or good but just simply suck, but either way you got through it and you are here today and that is all that really matters''
This is really good. I especially like the rhythm towards the end where you have the three rhyming lines. It also puts a twist on what success is. I hope to read some more soon.
I definitely can relate. It's definitely important to remember even just getting out of bed can be a success for some.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
