In the medicine cabinet, three blades sit
One by one I use each one,
to slit my thighs
On my thighs, lay three marks
Three gaping wounds,
blood dripping down
Down on the floor stands the toilet paper roll
Wrapping around and around it goes
Then flushing it down the toilet, so
nobody would know
Nobody knows, how I snuck into the kitchen tonight, grab the flashlight, searching in the dark
Searching for band aids, but there's not enough
to cover all three wounds
Searching for answers,*
Answers that are clear-cut
So many questions and confusion
People want to be clued in,
whats going on?
Hiding what's going on,
keeping this away from others' eyes
Eyes shut, I wish it all to stop.
Make it stop, please make it stop
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
I like the ending on this one too! The way you describe the night makes it seem like a whisper to me. Keep posting your work. <3
If clarity's in death, then why won't this die?
Years of tearing down our banners, you and I
Living for the thrill of hitting you where it hurts Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first
