poem

Such a tender heart,
purring, loving,
I can't imagine my life, without
his presence.
He showed me a new dimension of joy

He feels so soft,
warm like a mug of tea
But his poor paws, are frigid cold.
So are his ears and his runny nose

I hear him yelp in pain
In the language he knows best
Sometimes the most giving are hurting so much
Sometimes the most heart warming, need a warm touch

I got the same feeling that this was both really sweet and kind of sad. The last stanza was my favorite. Write more! :hehe:
