running across my skin,
reminding me of the person i used to be,

reminding me of the way things could have been,
i've got secrets,
i've got scars,

marks of madness running along my skin,
help me please.

I agree, this is pretty. I can relate, especially to the line about memories running across your skin. It actually reminds me of having a physical urge to self-harm or a flashback of some sort that feels like there's something crawling across or under your skin.

I like the pattern made by the repetition, it gets the message across in a really fluent and creative way and gives it some flow. It's a really good piece of writing.
