spontaneous response poem

There's this person who writes poetry and I end up writing a "response" poem :hehe: it's not really a direct response but it is just something I think of on the spot after reading it, usually using a word or two from to jumpstart my own. This one is mine :P
(Note: I put trigger warning for SH because it kinda mentions it but it isn't graphic)

I learned a lesson from my foe
how to cherish my pinky toe
how to not pout or pick or peel
Just leave it alone, it'll heal, on it's own
Not to be punched or pinched or potched
It's had enough mishap in its life
It may not be much fun or in the mood to giggle
But it loves to waggle and to wiggle

I like this response! It is great when other writers are inspiration.

My spontaneous response to this spontaneous response poem is that you should write more of these. ;) Also, I'm a sucker for alliteration so I think this is great.

This is clever, I like how you were inspired by another writer, it's a great idea!
