posters, pictures, pin ups line the walls,
the eyes of those she idolised,
watching her when those tears rolled from her eyes,
they cant rescue her or hear her,
pictures on the mantlepiece of what looks to be happier times,
the ones her grandparents idolise,
oh but if the only they knew its all just a disguise,
each night tears roll from her eyes,
if only someone could hear her cries see past the disguise,
see the bruises, see through the mask,
free her from this life,
posters, pictures, pin ups line the walls,
those they idolised
never to know the truth.
