I have a secret treasure,
I keep it hidden in my drawers
And when I take it out
I apply it to my shoulders
The blood is my sacrifice
As I sing my ritual chant
This sacred object has magic properties
And gives me promise
To the unknown ahead
It keeps me safe,
All I got to do is have faith
But sometimes the gods are displeased with my sins
and I must learn, I can't always win.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
I can relate to this, too, and I like how you wrote it!
If clarity's in death, then why won't this die?
Years of tearing down our banners, you and I
Living for the thrill of hitting you where it hurts Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first
