TeenHelp - Season's Poem

Okay, so I wrote this poem in like 10 minutes, and I don't know if it's good or not, so if anyone has any constructive criticism, then that would be great... It's for a friend for a secret Santa :)

I sit in the chilling, cold December
Thinking back to the trees changing in October
The falling leaves
The cool wind running through my hair
I sit and think about how the trees change
During every month of every year

Spring time is a beautiful time
Where leaves and flowers grow
All the bloom from the cold of winter
Has finally sprung up and brought color to us
Temperatures get warmer
And the sun comes out from hiding

Summer time is a hot time
Where the sun always shines
Children go out and play
As the grass is green
And the sky is blue
The perfect whether to go out

When the fall hits
The warm weather turns cold
And the green leaves turn brown
All the nature that grew months before
Are now falling down to the ground
And the warm air starts to cool

Now the winter is here
Snow will be falling from the gray sky
Scarves and gloves will be pulled out
It's the countdown to Christmas as December hits
And everyone rushes to buy presents
Before roasting marshmallows on the fire

As the end of the year nears
Everyone's glad a new year will be starting
People are turning over an old leaf
To start a new year with happiness
And for the seasons to run again that year
This is why I love the different seasons
And how the trees change during the months
