The images plague my mind,
Rising higher and higher till my minds consumed,
Drowning in the thoughts and the images,
It's like I'm a slave,
A slave to your cruel endless games,
Like a tidal wave,
Your words and violence a tsunami of spoken violent destruction,
The waves rise higher and higher ,
Drowning me in a sea of people of violence and name calling,
Only for the sea and the tsunami and the tidal waves of names and torment,
To send me crashing into the wall,
While wishing I had never been born.
'There will be bad days, there will be good days, there will be really bad days, and really good days, and days that are not bad or good but just simply suck, but either way you got through it and you are here today and that is all that really matters''
But in all seriousness, you put everything together really well here!
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
I loved this! I loved the way it all came together like a statement, almost like a run on sentence, that didn't feel like reading a poem, but someone actually speaking to me. I absolutely enjoyed reading this. Keep writing!
