So I don't participate in the swimming part of my gym class, (I have a medical excuse, don't worry ) so I have to sit on the pool benches and watch the people in the pool. One day while I was sitting there, I witnessed someone cross the lane line the divides the shallow and deep end. He was totally okay and meant to cross it. But the got the inspiration for this poem when I saw it. Enjoy.
************************************************** ***********
It's funny how something simple
That's meant to save you life,
Can actually kill you faster
Then a gun, a sword, or knife.
If you cross the lane line,
You'll be up the creek.
Stuck alone in water
That is ominous and deep.
If you go under,
No one can hear your screams.
As water fills your lungs,
And crushes all your dreams.
A lane line is supposed to tell you
Where to and not to go.
But it's up to you to cross it
And end up fathoms below.
If you can support yourself
And swim to the shallow end,
The lane line will not kill you
But instead, be your friend.
But if you are weak,
And end up slipping under,
No one can save you now,
And your life will be torn asunder.
There are lines in life,
They're invisible, but the same.
You can cross or you can stay,
You're playing the same game.
Lines are meant to keep you in
Or maybe keep you out.
But whenever the line is crossed,
You sink, and scream, and shout.
But once you're in over your head,
You are there to stay.
No one can hear your watery screams,
And all you can do is pray.

Cool inspiration for this!
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive

Whoa, this is so cool! Good Job!
If clarity's in death, then why won't this die?
Years of tearing down our banners, you and I
Living for the thrill of hitting you where it hurts Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first
