A poem that has no title:) -
August 15th 2013, 05:44 PM
Well, I've never written a poem outside of school, so I thought I'd give poetry a shot. This poem is about a friend who wanted to help, but they ended up hurting me more instead and how I blame myself for it. So, here it goes.
You told me to trust you, tell you my secrets
Told me it was okay
You said you would help me, I'd be better
But look where I am today.
It was you that made everything worse
I fell and you never came back.
My hope for life and trust is gone
You showed me the truth that you lack
Maybe I hurt you, this is my fault
Maybe this is the end
And maybe I shouldn't trust you
Or anyone ever again
You left me alone, you never said a word
My pieces dropped to the dust
What did I mean to you, really?
None of your words I trust
You think everything is fine between us
You don't know what a bitch you've been
You never confess
What you've done wrong or that you've cut my skin.
I know that I hurt you, this is my fault
I know this is the end
And I know I shouldn't trust you
Or anyone ever again

This has a lot of emotion in this, and I agree with Tay, I'm sorry about how things turned out!
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
