just another poem

Lightly falls the snow outside
So that I can run and hide
But after that, the footsteps will stay
And people will see them in the light of day

This blood is dripping, pouring out
speaking for me when I cannot shout
but now,soon, everyone will see
the monster that's become of me

Now I sit here with an illness, my choice
Without salvation and without a voice
So when will I find the answer I sought
during this long war I've fought.

I really love this! I can relate a bit to the first two lines of the second stanza.

I agree with Dez, this is a wonderful poem. It's short, but it shows great imagery and feeling. Keep up the good work!
