'Gamer' - a poem for my game obsessed boyfriend :)
 

I wrote this or my boyfriend whom I've been with for over 3 years. All the game references are because he's an absolute video game obsessive and he's slowly turning me into one :L it's not my best work but it amused me so thought some might appreciate it :L

Gamer

You really push my buttons,
Mr "let me finish this level"
"I'll only be 5 more minutes"

But regardless of your habbits,
Your ability to tune out the World, and disapear into a new one,
I'll happily be your Player 2.

I'll sit there for hours,
while you stare at the screen,
Just to wrap my arms around you.

You get my heart racing faster
than a first class FPS, blam, blam ,blam,
my pulse an SMG in my viens.

Gamers love a challenge,
so will you rescue me?
I'll be your Princess Peach, if you'll be my Mario.

We'll be Link & Zelda,,
Mr & Mrs Pacman, Sonic & Amy,
Twisted Fate & Evelyn.

Guys only ask girls to play
if they need a healer
but if I get to play a game with you

I'll happily carry health vials
because cuddles, Domino's and xBox with you
is the happiest I've ever been...

Aaaaaaaw, this is soooo cute! My boyfriend is a huge gamer too, I know how it feels. Some of my happiest times with him were when we were sitting together on the floor trying to kill each other. ;) We love Katamari Damacy.
