I'll hide behind a smile,
I'll pretend I'm fine,
I'll put up with it,
It's all I've ever learnt,
It's all I've ever known,
I ache for love,
And acceptance
As each day passes
Nothing ever changes,
Ask me 'are you okay'
I'll say I'm fine
But in reality what I need is
For someone to just tell me ' I know you're not, what's wrong'
These are the masks we wear
Happy, sad on the inside,
Screaming out for help and love and acceptance
Never to receive any of this
So continue we must,
Smile we must
But never ever let the mask show otherwise.
'There will be bad days, there will be good days, there will be really bad days, and really good days, and days that are not bad or good but just simply suck, but either way you got through it and you are here today and that is all that really matters''

I love this and really connect to it!! Never give up writing! I will say as the one person who I always send my stuff to says to me because I feel it applies. So many people could relate to this but would never admit to it. I totally agree with the statement. YOu have talent look foward to seeing more from you.
feel free to PM me...
Always keep a smile on your face and Lots of love in you heart! <3

This is really true and I can relate, and is an amazing poem!
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
