Self Expression Poems, stories, artwork and similar creations are great ways to let out your thoughts or feelings. Please share your work with us here!
Well, if you're struggling a bit with knowing what to write, the first thing you should do is make a list or brief outline of what specifically you want the poem to include. Try to get your thoughts organized, then describe it the best you can. It can even be almost like a story (a narrative poem) if that is easier for you to write. I hope this helps a little.

I agree with what was said that you can make an outline of general ideas of what to say. Another thing that I tend to do is just let ideas flow. Write whatever comes to mind and then you can edit it after that.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
