the cool water drips down her face
suddenly its clear once she sees her veins
didn't have to look back in the mirror
her body lay motionless down by the river
her eyes stayed shut for the rest of her life
as the moon shines brightly to say "goodnight"
didn't have to listen to one more lie
her spirit keeps moving towards the light
one more second she could finally breathe
the ocean so dark she could finally sleep
current so slow she could fade away
to wake beside the one she loves to this very day
one last time she will end this fight
whispering soft words making sure its fine
countless moments it took her to see
a smile on her face once she left her body
coming close you feel the rain
as the sky rolled thunder releasing her pain
streams of red flowing down her skin
suddenly the world takes her sins
in the sand remain her footsteps
leading you to where she takes her last breath
she left her heart in her second home
letting her know she's not alone
a flicker of light peaks through the sky
as people still think this girl's alive
no one noticed the different colored sand
not even that one homeless man
the howling wind kissed her cheek
the rest of her inside made it to the creek
the stars came out so that they could shine
her body became part of the spotlight
the owls sang a goodbye song
to help this incident move along
her memory still blazes in their minds
who could forget a creature so kind?
once they realize she is gone
they'll blame themselves for the damages done
her fingers closed together on her chest
with a rose between displaying her death
they lit the flower and watched it burn
to let her life safely return
tears dripped down to put the fire out
and the one she loved killed herself

Wow, this is really good! i love it. Thanks for sharing.
From day one I talked about getting out
But not forgetting about
How all my worst fears are letting out
He said, "Why put a new address on the same old loneliness?"
When breathing just passes the time
Until we all just get old and die

I love this! You're an amazing writer. I wish I could have this read to everyone at my school over the intercom, since my school has done nothing for suicide prevention. Maybe it would teach them something.

This is BEAUTIFUL. It is so powerful and vivid, and I can definitely feel the emotions going through this. It is wonderful that you wrote this. Maybe having people read this would teach them a lesson.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive

Thanks you guys! It would be really cool to have it read to schools so people realize the fact that one suicide could lead to another and how people need to notice the warning signs before its too late. I'm really glad that you guys liked this so much!!!! Share it to others if you'd like, I really don't have a problem with it. Just don't take full credit, lol. No you could just say that you found it on the internet and you really wanted to share it with them. Thanks guys!

My blog is open to all, those whom are easily triggered avoid, it's a story about a girl and her life and how far she has come over the years. If you read it, I hope it inspires you to keep fighting and to NEVER give up!
