Will it ever be enough.... a poem about acceptence - July 17th 2012, 05:52 AM

My grades can show you I don't understand
And all these test can prove I dont learn right
But it would only take you to talk to me to know that I have good ideas

My cuts can show you I am in pain
And my blood can prove what I am willing to do for you
But it would only take you to help me to know that there is hope for me

My lack of smile shows you I am unhappy
And my tears can prove that I am unable to cope
But it would only take you to hold me to know that I can be strong

My body limp can show you I have give in
And the empty bottle on the floor can prove that I had no regrets
But it would only take you to love me to know that I can live

Hi Marie!!

Good for you!

I think it's a good poem.

Keep in mind that the one person you CAN count on to talk to, to help, to hold and to love you... IS you!!!

I agree, the poem is very moving.
